The idea of \u200b\u200bopening a supermarket chain emerged in 2010 - the main goal was to create a shopping facility for residents of Tbilisi's outer districts that was as comfortable and of high standards as could be found in any other central district.\u00a0<\/p>

Immediately after entering the market, Fresco began to actively develop the network and, through the rapid increase in the number of supermarkets, became one of the fastest-growing chains at that time. The first Fresco supermarket was opened in Varketili, at 9 Kaloubani Street. The same year, the second Fresco supermarket was opened in Mukhiani. Today, Fresco owns 10 supermarkets throughout Tbilisi, in different districts of Tbilisi.\u00a0<\/p>

From 2016 onwards, in terms of network development, the focus was not on intensive growth in the number of supermarkets, but on the structural and organizational development of the existing network and increasing profitability.<\/p>
